Six or seven, each with a permanent teleport circle leading to the others. Not a single wizard's tower, but several, scattered across the world. A circle itself can be moved.Ĭonsider, then, that your library may not be one building- but a series of buildings. Teleport circles *don't* teleport to other circles however- they teleport to fixed locations. A tapestry, skin, paper of sufficient size can have a circle set on it- as can a properly treated piece of wood, stone- even a door. Remember that the circles themselves must be on the 'ground'- although this is a very loose definition. If the library is in a fixed location, or several fixed locations then you probably want to play around with teleport circles. Secret Page (Twice the room on each page) Permanency (Use it on as many of the Personal-only spells as possible) on your books, but might annoy patrons who send summoned creatures on their behalf) Hallow/Unhallow (Could be used for continuous resist energy etc. Scribe Scroll (Wizards get it anyway, but just in case an ACF trades it away) Relicguard Spell (If you do have to fight, do it without harming the books) Mage of the Arcane Order CA (Expanded spell access for scroll crafting, plus bonus languages and metamagic) Geometer CA (Fit more spellbooks into a smaller space, plus glyph of warding can come in handy) Illumian (Mainly for thematic reasons, but immunity to your own symbol-based spells could be useful)ĭungeon Lord Dung (For knowing your library like the back of your hand only 1 level is really necessary, though you could take up to 3) I have no interest in fighting or adventuring, just in running a library. Suppose I were an NPC wizard (or archivist, bard, etc.).
